Previously Co-founder & CTO of Nomisma (ca. 2017 - 2021), a digital assets derivatives exchange which built one of the largest Solidity/Yul codebases ever (14,000 LOC). Nomisma was the first digital asset company to be awarded a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) (securities exchange) conditional license under MiFID II, which approved a blockchain-based, trustless custody and settlement protocol that eliminated the need for a custodial bank and a centralized clearing party (CCP). Nomisma was acquired by Amber Group in 2021. Lucas holds a BBA in Global Business and a BSc in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2020). Lucas speaks English, German, Arabic, and Mandarin.
